Where the last 24 hours of Indian and global news push Indian market sectors and the rupee, bonds, inflation and foreign flows: tailwind or headwind, how hard, and why.
Each story is scored from −3 (strong headwind) to +3 (strong tailwind) for every sector and market gauge it touches. The map adds those scores, counting high-confidence calls at 1.0, medium at 0.7 and low at 0.4.
Sectors follow the main Indian market sector groups. Market gauges track how news reaches Indian markets: equities, the rupee, government bond yields, inflation, the fiscal and trade balance, foreign investor flows and growth. A positive gauge score is good for Indian markets: a stronger rupee, falling bond yields, easing inflation, foreign inflows. Foreign news is included only when it reaches India, through oil and gas, US rates and the dollar, trade, metal or food prices. Stories are written without company names, so the map shows sector-level pressure only.
Each day a free job reads the latest market headlines and intelligence signals and matches them to event rules, such as "oil prices rise", "RBI cuts rates", "FPIs sell" or "weak monsoon". Each rule carries a reviewed set of exposures. Headlines on the same event are grouped into one story, and confidence rises with the number of separate reports. When the optional Claude routine runs, Claude writes and scores the stories itself instead.
Scores are a structured judgement about direction and size over each story's horizon. They are not price targets or investment advice.
Each cell is the sector's net score in stories that also move that gauge. Darker means stronger. Select a cell to see the stories behind it.

Geopolitical and economic signals from open sources: conflict trackers, disaster alerts, central banks, international bodies and media monitoring, kept only when they reach Indian markets. Each signal is tagged with the industries and economies it exposes. Signals marked "assessed" have been scored for market impact, by keyword rules or, when the optional Claude routine runs, by Claude.
Ask what a story means, where pressure is building, or how one market affects another. Answers draw on today's scan, the intelligence signals and a quick web search.
Answers stay at the sector level and are not investment advice.
